Handmade Tiles
All tiles are made from an original design. Beginning with a wet mound of clay, tiles are rolled out and cut by hand. Pieces are fired half way (bisque) for easy handling for glazing and then fired to over 2000 F to maturity. Due to being handmade slight variations occur. However, this is part of the beauty. Great care and joy combined with human touch results in a creation that carries a feeling that at times cannot be defined.
Designs can be installed as a backsplash, fireplace, wall and floor piece or framed. Custom tiles are made to fit any space. Pieces are per square foot and vary depending on the amount of embellishment. Contact to order or discuss a custom design.
